The event that started it all!  The inaugural Boomstrike RC Heli Festival was held at LARCS, 15-17 July 2024. One of the leading sponsors, XLPower Helicopters brought renowned international champion pilots Kenny Ko from Taiwan and Nick Maxwell from the USA to share our national Heli jamboree.  The weather conditions were absolutely stunning as attested by Nick himself.  With 42 registered pilots, a well attended public displays and the setting of some initial records for the leader board, this event left participants begging for more.  Make sure you watch the entire video below where Nick shares his thoughts on our very first Boomstrike!
